Here is the story of the time we bought a Filipino fishing boat while staying on the island of Palawan! And yes, it was just as incredible as it sounds! :D

A few years ago the three of us took off on a backpacking trip across Asia and Europe. Our second stop was the Philippines. After exploring the island of Cebu we flew across to Puerto Princessa on Palawan Island and travelled up to El Nido along Bacuit Bay. By the end of our 2nd day, we owned a traditional Filipino banka boat.

This is Part One of one of the most incredible experiences we've ever had, which had a profound impact on the course of our lives. The video covers buying the boat, our early expeditions to iconic locations like Entula Island, Big Lagoon and Shimizu Island, climbing the peak behind El Nido Proper and venturing to Malabina Island.
