On this episode we make way for Bonerate Island. After a hellish night under anchor we head ashore to visit the our reason for stopping at this island; Massive Traditional wooden boats being built along the beach.

I love the homemade and handmade aspects of so many of the boats in Indonesia, as well as the beautifully crafted ships made by skilled shipwrights using skills passed down for centuries.
