TELL ALL INTERVIEW: New Catamaran Warranty Repair Takes Over 1 YEAR - How and Why
****A couple of people have asked recently did we pay Nino to do this interview. We did not. He did it of his own volition and retained the right to check the final edit. He was meant to be employed by Travelopia or MIT and he paid for thousands of dollars of insurance himself to proudly work for them, just to make our hull right, with zero promise of payback for it. Trent only paid him his wages recently because Travelopia declined to pay him for his work. They still haven't sighted a valid reason so we have invoiced them for it. Watch this space.*******
I interview Nino, sharing his experiences and opinions on how and why the new catamaran warranty repair process on our Leopard 45 has taken over a year! He speaks about the things he personally witnessed and was told during the 270 days he spent working on the boat in Trinidad, explaining his personal views of the situation.
Speaking out publicly like this is a risk that most people wouldn't be willing to take, but Nino felt it was the right thing to do after hearing disgusting rumors about us and our sometimes terrible treatment.
The past year at times has been incredibly disappointing, but with the support of good and brave people like Nino we continue to be determined to finish the boat and get on with our cruising dreams. We're ready to receive the new repair team from Leopard Catamarans.
