Starting with my sail repair and ended up doing it by hand. Meeting new sailors that are from Indonesia, and sharing nice food together while learning more about Indonesia. My new friends had their anchor stolen in Kupang so I lended them my backup rocna anchor. It was quite windy every night and their emergency anchor was basically not doing the job. So I could not watch this and felt it needed some action from my side.

Something of the most beautiful thing being a sailor is the people I meet. I have learned so much about Indonesia already and are even more facinated than I would expect to begin with. So Im already planning my next moves and looking into better options in terms of visa.

Most of the time in Tual will be spent on sail repair till I try to be a bit tourist as well.

Before full-time sailing 6 years ago, I sailed several seasons in the Mediterranean, and obviously also in Scandinavia. I had my first sailboat at age 7 and have been sailing and racing ever since. Also, more than 10 years of experience as a captain in Search and Rescue at sea in Norway.
