SAILING INTO THE NEW YEAR - SwT 84 - IS IT OK TO JUST ENJOY LIFE?

Is it okay to just enjoy life? It's so easy to forget to relax because it's always something I can do. I will try to be better at doing nothing. At least this was something I was thinking about when I felt like cruising into a New Year even without a NYE party. I really enjoyed just hanging at the beach, go for a swim and felt almost like being on a holiday. I did not make any video of this week, as I felt for some time off. I will also share why you have not seen Kylie in a while, and also kick off the new season with friends.

I feel so lucky and privileged to have this life, and especially now in this crazy world. Life is actually pretty good being a sailor in paradise, and this is something I have been focusing on lately.

I`m sailing sailing around the world in my Bavaria 55 Cruiser, making videos whenever I have time for it. Most of the time I sail singlehanded but occasionally I do have sailing friends onboard. Still in the Caribbean due to Covid and was supposed to be in Asia by now.

Even though this is season 4 on youtube I did not make that many videos in the beginning. Before full-time sailing, I have sailed several seasons in the Med prior to this, and obviously also in Scandinavia. I have been traveling the world before and also been an active regatta sailor. I had my first sailboat at age 7 and been sailing ever since. Also more than 10 years experience from Search and Rescue at sea in Norway.

I'm just a normal person sharing my travel adventure through my eyes and experience from my perspective! Remember how I do things might work for me but not for you. It might even not be the correct way to do things, and I don't have the blueprint either. I'm not perfect and nobody is. The day I believe I know it all and don't think I can learn new things I should go ashore.
