Laminating a Custom Stove Enclosure for an Alberg 30 Sailboat Refit
Hello Friends,
On this episode (Part 3) we finish laminating and trimming the alcohol stove enclosure for the boat. This is a slow process that takes days as you can only laminate one piece at a time, wait at least 24 hours then trim it off and do the next piece.
We finally get to the point of cutting the bottom/transition/back of the interior space of the enclosure. This required a very precise cut and good team work when it came time to set the piece in place coated with contact cement.
In the next video we will get all of the teak trim cut to size and mounted then we will be ready to take it to the boat, screw it in and make some tea on the new gimbaled stove!
