We had a chat with William Jelbert, the COO of Gunboat at Cannes Yachting Festival on "Dash", Gunboat 68.02. This was the premiere for the Gunboat 68, the first model to be launched by the Grand Large Yachting Group.

Gunboat 68 Highlights
– The Gunboat 68 has been designed as an eco yacht to get sailing fast in lighter winds
– You customise your own performance yacht from a menu of packs
– The two main optionsare: Cruising Pack and Racing Pack.
– Gunboat 68-01 has reached speeds over 30 knots. Yes, that's surfing, but still, these are fast yachts.
– This catamaran has a well thought out, tidy design with most sail handling done from the forward cockpit.
– Christophe Chedal Anglay’s interior design is luxurious.
– The SA/D ratio on the Regatta set up is 38. The rotating mast is optional.
– Price could hIt €8m and over for a regatta version with all of the toys, the price is highly dependant on your options of course.
– Examples sailing around include Highland Fling, Dash, Sea Tilt and Tosca.
