Since arriving in Trinidad almost 9 months ago we've settled into a routine of visiting the Central Market in Port of Spain every weekend to shop for fresh seafood, meat, herbs, fruit and vegetables. There's a huge range of fresh produce and many friendly vendors that we're got to know throughout our time here.
So many of the yacht cruisers who pass through Trinidad have vouched for it being one of the best fresh market's in the entire Caribbean, so we decided to show it off and do a walk through of the market, introducing you to some of our favourite vendors.
At the end, Telicia breaks down exactly what was bought and how much it cost in USD and TTD, keeping in mind this is almost our entire grocery shop for a week!
