SPECIAL EPISODE: SAM HOLMES HAWAII BOUND on a 23ft Sailboat (HE MADE IT TO HILO! JUNE 2 2019)

Hello Friends!

This is a special episode where I interview my friend and marina neighbor Sam Holmes who, by the time this was uploaded, departed for Hawaii in his Ranger 23 named "Swedish Fish"

Our regular viewers will remember him from the episode where Camille and myself sailed to Santa Barbara Island ( https://youtu.be/bKYkneYs0z0 )

Since then Sam has outfitted his tiny 23ft sailboat for passage making including adding a wind vane steering system, solar power and more.

The day before Sam left I sat down with him onboard SV Swedish Fish and interviewed him about the trip and his preparations. Sam is a true maniac and I have full faith that he will make it to Hawaii with many stories to tell about the passage.
