Yanmar 2GM Engine Rebuild: Removing PISTON and RINGS from engine (Part 5)

If you are doing a full Yanmar 2GM engine rebuild this video is for you. We explain how to remove pistons from the cylinder head. That's when we finally got a better look at that cracked piston, a full chunk of metal was entirely gone. No wonder our little diesel engine wasn't running anymore. Our second piston is still good but unfortunately the piston rings we're fully seized up. After some struggles and trying out a few different tricks we finally manage to get them off.
