EP 156: Wild Sailing Into a GHOST TOWN! Embarking on our 720nm journey from Cape Town, South Africa to Walvis Bay, Namibia. We experiences some gnarly swell... what was a predicted 3m swell became a 4-4.5m swell. After not sleeping for 26 hours and knowing that the swell was just going to get worse with time and unsure if we could outrun it we opted to head into Luderitz. To our suprise.. we were allowed to check in (we didn't think we would be able to but we were the first sailing vessel that they had allowed) After checking into Namibia we decided to get exploring. We had a celebratory welcome to Namibia dinner with some lobster and then headed over to the ghost town of Kolmanskop. See ya next week!!
