Vendée Globe 2020 | Southern Wind Shipyard supports the 'Initiatives-Coeur' charity mission

To celebrate the end of the year with you, we wanted to share the story of an incredible adventure. Sam Davies and her boat Initiatives-Coeur were sadly forced to end their bid for the Vendée Globe 2020 after suffering keel damage. Southern Wind decided to support Sam Davies with her mission to raise funds for children with heart defects. A mission that “goes beyond pure sailing"". Southern Wind shipyard happily donated our time, materials and know-how to repair the yacht and help Davies continue the project of raising funds for children with heart defects.
