To many sharks & navigating atolls in the Tuamotu vlog 74

Sharks seem to be the norm around your boat here in these atolls. And when we spear fish we have less than a minute to get that fish out of the water before we are surrounded by sharks. At time its a little scary but we are learning to love swimming with these creatures. The Tuamotus, also referred to in English as the Tuamotu Islands are a French Polynesian chain of almost 80 islands and atolls forming the largest chain of atolls in the world. We hit a number of these amazing spots in this episode. Hope you love it! We are the Robbins family sailing on our boat named Nikau. We are a family of 5. Our 3 kids are doing NZ correspondence school on board. They are growing to love it! What's not to love about 3 hours of school a day and then a different playground for the afternoon every day! We've traveled from New Zealand to Sardinia in Italy to pick up our boat and we plan over a few seasons to sail her back to New Zealand. We hope you enjoy following us on our adventures!
