Testing Our Sailboat on a Longer Passage [2.25]

One thing we really wanted to do this summer was to do a longer passage including a night sail, so we could further test the boat before we start with further refit jobs. As our first sail was early autumn we had little hope that a good window would show up before autumn and winter arrived for real. But a couple of weekends ago a perfect window appeared and we could head out on a 24-hour sail around Gotlandic Sand Island (Gotska Sandön) and back again! We are Thomas and Petra, late August 2020 we left Sweden to start our first sailing adventure. We sailed for a year to the Caribbean and back again. October 2023 we bought a new sailboat, a Wasa 530 that had been standing for around 15 years and was in need of some renovation.
