Tahiti to Moorea | Diving | Stingray riding | Surfing | Jungle waterfalls, Vlog 76

We decided to hire a car and road trip around Tahiti so we could see up close some of the amazing flora, fauna and waterfalls this incredible tropical paradise has to offer. We were also able to observe some top surfing including the world famous Tahupoo surf break. Snorkeling and diving in Tahiti was also far better than we expected considering how populated the island is. After Tahiti it's only a short 2 hour hop to the neighbouring island of Moorea which is equally stunning with its towering rock and forest mountains surrounded by blue, sandy lagoon. Here we visited the famous stingray and shark feeding area and Bella even got to ride a stingray (after being instructed by one of the local guides how to do it correctly, basically involves holding a piece of pilchard in front of their mouth and using your hands to guide their direction). Getting up close and friendly with these amazing animals in their natural habitat was a once in a lifetime experience! We are the Robbins family sailing on our boat named Nikau. We are a family of 5. Our 3 kids are doing NZ correspondence school on board. They are growing to love it! What's not to love about 3 hours of school a day and then a different playground for the afternoon every day! We've traveled from New Zealand to Sardinia in Italy to pick up our boat and we plan over a few seasons to sail her back to New Zealand. We hope you enjoy following us on our adventures!
