Solosailing into the harbour of Texel - Ep. 1
On Ascension Day I sail from Terschelling over Sea to Texel. As soon as I have rounded Texel I have to beat upwind for quite sometime to arrive at Oudeschild. The wind is a very fresh breeze around 21 knots. I sail into the harbor of Oudeschild at 7.2 knots speed and 3.0 knots cross current. I did ask permission first. It takes 16 seconds to lower the mainsail and a total of 1 minute to lower both sails. Hope you guys enjoy the video. If you do, please subscribe.
