Sikaflex YACHT INSULATION || Setting the STERN ANCHOR || Blues JAM SESSION

In tropical climates the rain often arrives with no previous warning. As such it is of extreme importance to have the yacht properly insulated against water infiltrations. Any tiny discrete inlet may let a lot of water inside, so all the effort must be put into this task. In this video I want to show you how I insulated a pathway through the mast cables that the rainwater was taking to drip significantly into the saloon of Winderlust. The used insulating material is the world famous Sikaflex. There are NO affiliations to the brand. It is actually a solid product that gets the job done and as such I often use onboard. While anchoring in the Marquesas, in some bays, the stern anchor is required, as in Hakahau at the island of Ua-Pou. Come check how I set it.
