Shakedown Cruise and Searching for Anchorages in Annapolis / MV Havaseas Nordhavn 50

We are Eric, Kimberley, and Distin. We are from Alaska. We started our adventures in Alaska on our Nordhavn 55. We sold her and are now beginning our adventures on a new to us Nordhavn 50. In this episode, we cast off from our permanent slip under the shed at Solomon Island for a long way to shakedown cruise. Our journey takes us north to Annapolis, where we search for a good anchorage - but after a bit of a challenge, we pivot and head to the peaceful South River. We drop hook in a beautiful Aberdeen Creek and spend a couple of days soaking in serenity. While there, we explore the South River and enjoy the calm before returning to Annapolis, where we finally settled into back Creek Anchorage.
