Sailing to Two Harbors and Hen Rock - Dana 24 - August 2019

In this video, we sail to the Isthmus Cove at Two Harbors, Catalina Island. Due to poor planning and not getting a mooring reservation on Labor Day Weekend, we wind up having to anchor in 90 feet. After a rocky night and anchor we pick up and head to Hen Rock where we secured a mooring for the night. After a bit of snorkeling at Hen Rock, we give our Force 10 propane oven the ultimate test. The first mate cooks her first batch of chocolate chip cookies and they turn out perfectly. We motor sail in light winds back to Dana Point--an uneventual return with a little fog while transiting the shipping lanes.
