Sailing to Menorca, or did we?

Leaving Torrevieja in end August with our mind set on spending September in Menorca. We sailed a lot of Nautical Miles, had a lot of strong winds, but did they take us to Menorca??? Or How to sail a lot of Miles without really getting anywhere.
