In this episode we sail to the Dominican Republic's south coast from the little island of il e Vache, Haiti. What is it like to sail the south coast of Dominican Republic? The mountains! Much different than what we know of the flat Bahamas. We overshoot our original destination of Bay of Eagles and ended up in Pedernales DR. You can't check into the country there, as there are no customs nearby. but we were visited by officials to make sure we weren't smuggling in goods. We were able to catch up on editing and repairing our genoa to sail on through the way to the rest of Dominican Republic.
