Sailing around the world with Miss Arthur - departure day
In 2019 Jan and Josefine bought a 28 foot sailboat and wanted to sail around the world. They soon realized the boat was to small to do such a trip in a comfortable way so they sold the 28 foot boat and bought a Bavaria 50 Holiday in 2020. They since then lived on board and prepared for the trip with departure in 2022. The boat is upgraded with new rig, sails, a dinghy, motor, and a lot more to ensure a flawless trip. The journey is divided in different trips with different crew there is changed on each stop. The trips is : 1 : Aarhus to Gran Canaria 2 : Gran Canaria to Caribien 3: Martinique - Guadeloupe - Antigua & Barbuda - British Virgin Islands 4: Britiske Virgin Islands - Turks- og Caios islands - Haiti - Colón 5: Colón - Panama canal - Galápagos - Nuku Hiva - Fakarava - Tahiti 6: Tahiti - Moorea - Tahaa - Bora Bora - Tahiti Hull portlight on Bavaria 50 : Bavaria Elliptical Fixedlight 496.5 x 174.5 cm. - part nr. 30154600 - price : 553 Euro 2025 update : Jan and Josefine has sold their boat in Australia the 28. March 2025 and is returning home to Denmark to start their normal life again.
