S01E16: ?DOA ISO TRANSFORMER REPLACEMENT | Replacing our 3600W Victron Isolation Transformer ?????

Hello Friends! This is one of the last project videos from the boatyard. Last fall we bought a brand new Isolation Transformer that failed to boot out of the box. The isolation transformer not only protects the boat (and swimmers) from stray current, but it also converts unstable or variable shore power to steady 115V. We decided to go with the Victron 3600W auto transformer. Victron handles its warranty fulfillment through the dealers so it did take a few weeks to sort but we did finally get a full reimbursement for the original unit and could not be happier with the second unit's performance. In general, we find Victron to offer high quality products and are glad to report that when something goes wrong, they stand behind their product.
