Red Rocket - Off to Madeira

[ENGLISH VERSION] The most adventurous RM1080 and its valiant crew arrived in Madeira after a crossing of around 300 nautical miles from the Canaries. A little weather preparation was required to choose a suitable window for sailing, although our farmers didn't hesitate for long before setting sail! The 3-day sail was not very restful, with more than two days spent sailing close-hauled in heavy seas. Nevertheless, the crew quickly tied up, thanks to their growing experience and the comfort of the RM1080. Arriving in the port of Funchal, our farmers were greeted by a strong gale, before setting off to explore the island, starting with Madeira's superb Tropical Garden. Pour cela, une petite préparation météo a été nécessaire pour choisir une fenêtre convenable pour naviguer, même si nos agriculteurs n'ont pas hésité longtemps avant de mettre les voiles ! Une navigation de 3 jours qui n'a pas été de tout repos, avec plus de deux jours passés à naviguer au près dans une mer formée. L'équipage s'est tout de même amariné rapidement grâce à son expérience grandissante et au confort du RM1080. Arrivés au port de Funchal, nos agriculteurs ont essuyé un important coup de vent, avant de partir explorer l'île, en commençant notamment par le superbe Jardin Tropical de Madère.
