RAFTED UP - Getting ready for the FRENCH CANALS | SAILING WAYZGOOSE WARRIOR Ep 13

After the best night sleep, we look back on our Channel crossing and analyse the trip. We are rafted up to a motor boat, comfortable and in a beautiful place. Whilst exploring Honfleur we saw a familiar boat... We had met a lovely couple last summer in Plymouth and we were 100% sure that it was their boat. Before I even realised Stuart was already knocking on their door to say hello. It was lovely seeing some familiar faces after having just arrived to a new country and that was the perfect excuse to stay in Honfleur for a bit longer and enjoy Christmas and New Year's. We thought that as we were going to stay here for a few weeks before going into the canals we could start getting the boat ready and took the genoa down on preparation for the trip. Wayzgoose enjoyed a well deserved wash as she was all scruffy and salty from the passage. As every Christmas we put all the decorations up and enjoy the festive atmosphere around our little home.
