Putting Our Home in Harm's Way | S02E20

After living in Isla Mujeres, Mexico for almost half a year while working hard to beef up our cruising kitty, we sort of forgot what it felt like to cruise! This trip to Bahia de Ascensión (Mexico) helped remind us about the ups and downs of cruising and passage making. We still have a lot to learn! New situations like navigating throught a narrow channel to reach a crazy fuel dock, trouble shooting the engine while underway, deciding when to reef and adjust sails for squalls in the distance and anchoring at night still exhaust us and stress us out, but we're hoping these parts of life will start to feel second-nature once we're cruising full time!
