Ponche KUBA is DELICIOUS!!

When we arrived in Grenada we had to go on a full-blown lockdown while we waited for a travel incubation period, then a pcr test, and finally when the results came in we were free to roam around and go see the boat we've put under contract. Yes, we did go a little stir crazy...but a lot of good came from that time!! As luck would have it (and it was indeed very lucky because Lauren had a mere 24 hours to research and choose a government-approved facility to quarantine at) we loved the Secret Harbour Hotel & Marina we quarantined at so much and we met so many nice people from afar from our little balcony, that we decided if the boat sale went through, we would bring our catamaran there to stay for a bit. If you can get ahold of Ponche Kuba, we highly recommend it. We know it is Manufactured in Barbados :) Lauren totally failed on the history lesson in the video 🤣, but if you have a chance, look it up, it's a pretty neat story about a guy who loved the Caribbean and wanted to capture all the flavors of all the islands he visited. The recipe we concocted is equal parts Kuba and whiskey and a hefty amount of juice (this can be to taste) the drink is pretty strong but also delicious- so be wary. We made this for some friends on their boat the other night and whew- it was a lot. As always, we'd love to know what you think! Cheers everyone..and try to enjoy every moment. :)
