13 hours? No problem, quick 3 hour sail? Oh was that an experience! We had a very pleasant 13 hour sail crossing the Great Bahama Bank from North Bimini, Bahamas to Chub Cay, Berry Islands, Bahamas. What we thought was going to be a short quick 3 hour sail from Chub Cay to New Providence ended up being our most challenging sail yet! From wind, 6-8' waves, squalls and reefing, we had loosened rigging and a snapped jib sheet to deal with. This tested our abilities to think and act quickly while on the water and at the end of the day, we were rewarded with reeling in some dinner as we approached the anchorage! WHERE WE DROPPED ANCHOR Chub Cay Marina Resort, Chub Cay, Berry Islands, Bahamas Clifton Bay, New Providence, Bahamas WATERMAKER Here’s our affiliate link to the watermaker we purchased from SeaWater Pro: https://seawaterpro.com/product/21-gph-80-lph-with-remote-control/ref/1/ If you make a purchase through our link, we might receive a small commission from your purchase, which really helps us out and keeps us afloat! 😊 IF YOU'D LIKE TO SUPPORT OUR JOURNEY https://www.patreon.com/jibsea OTHER WAYS TO SUPPORT OUR JOURNEY PayPal: paypal.me/jibsea Interac E-Transfer: sailingjibsea@gmail.com WANT MORE?
