This here is the first episode of The Dive Vlog, a thorough overcomplication of my favorite thing in the world: Diving and underwater photographing in the kelp forests of Monterey Bay, California. Having just quit my job at the Monterey Bay Aquarium earlier in the year to pursue my underwater photography career in earnest, I ventured out at San Carlos Beach in Monterey with a few GoPros, hefty credit card bills and a dream. It's taken me some time to get the emotional bandwidth necessary to get to the editing, but I'm planning to have these episodes come out every couple weeks here.
