LEAVING the Caribbean to NYC Aboard our Leopard 45 Sailing Catamaran. E106

I love sailing into New York City!!! What made the trip even better was that we had great crew and great weather, for most of it anyway. We left Spanish Wells, northern Eleuthera, with our friends, Dax and Jody. You might remember them from our Bahamas videos two years ago. We buddy sailed with them for six months there. I never thought I would have flown our Parasailor over night. But the weather was perfect, and it wasn't just the two of us on board. What a great adventure! The Gulf Stream was definitely our friend on this passage as it pushed us along as fast as 15.3 knots!!! For the most part, it gave us an extra 3-5 knots. Gotta love that. But we definitely didn't love the dense fog that plagued us coming into Norfolk, VA. It was the most stressful two hours we've ever experienced on our boat. Thanks for watching!
