This week we wonder why this island paradise in Turkey is now deserted??? it went from 2500 people to 0...... Is there a sinister dark secret? We sail on to Sogut to get protection. from an upcoming storm and check out the town. We discover the interesting story of Sadun Boro that was the first Turkish person to sail around the world in a small wooden boat that he built himself! He must also be the very first sailing blogger in the world as he sent weekly reports to the Turkish paper and had an enormous following!!! In fact he made sailing popular in Turkey and subsequently wrote many books of his adventures, pilot books and how to sail books!!! Amazing stuff. We also have huge difficulty clearing one of the outboard pipes that is blocked with something solid that really does not want to come out - what can it be??? We also continue cruising the Turkish coast, explore more interesting amphitheatre's of Roman times and take shelter in a lovely town with a strange unpronounceable name...
