Quatre ans après une première participation qui s'était terminée hors course, la navigatrice de MACSF a pu cette fois aller au bout de son histoire ? Pas épargnée par les problèmes, et notamment par une casse nette de son foil tribord dans le Pacifique, la Franco-Allemande a réussi à surmonter une par une toutes les épreuves, et surtout à se surpasser en conservant l'état d'esprit positif et combatif qu'elle visait ? ?? At 2328 hrs (UTC) on 3 February, Isabelle Joschke crossed the Vendée Globe finish line in 19th position, after 85 days, 11 hours and 26 minutes of racing. Four years after a first participation that ended in retirement, the skipper of MACSF successfully completed her non-stop unassisted circumnavigation ? In doing so she overcame numerous problems, in particular a clean break of her starboard foil in the Pacific ocean.
