The story picks up in Prickly Bay, Grenada, where we've just announced a seemingly never ending to do list for fixing up this 30 year old sailboat after her first Caribbean season. The projects are off to a rough start however. I begin the day attempting to replace the brushes for the broken windlass motor, but am forced to address a new issue, the anchor is dragging. We're moved into shallow water while I was away and will soon be on the rocks, so I decide to bring up the anchor by hand. Not my first rodeo with this, but this time, the wind and the swell are fighting me. I run back and forth to drive the boat and struggle to slowly bring up the change, hoping to reanchor and finally my struggle is noticed by some nearby sailors. I hurt my back in the process, a rein jury of an old disk issue. The injury would lead to a large setback in not only the project list, but the vlog as well. Blessings were upon us though! The boat is safe and I am recovering and more grateful than ever to be a part of such an amazing sailing community. Didn't do a great job of filming this one with all the chaos, but I hope y'all enjoy seeing what another tough day on the water looks like. Cheers!
