How to make HOT BUTTERED RUM

A hot buttered rum is sweet comfort! This holiday season, don't forget to slow down and take a little time to enjoy yourself! Ingredients 2 teaspoons packed brown sugar 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened 1 dash ground cinnamon 1 dash nutmeg* 1 dash ground allspice 1 splash pure vanilla extract 2 ounces dark rum 4 ounces hot water Steps Soften butter ahead of time. Place brown sugar and butter into a coffee glass or mug and muddle. Add vanilla extract, and spices. Add hot water and stir to melt and blend all the ingredients together.
