How I 3D print and some small boat jobs

So today i'm making a few things using my 3D printer, so I thought i'd try and show you how I go about designing and making 3D printed parts. I have had a few people ask me about the process. I have absolutely zero design expertise. I'm an engineer/software chap by trade so all of this is self taught and I just use the iterative "design - test - Tweak" method, which is perfect for the 3D print process.
