Harmony 34 Two Bob
** NOW SOLD ** Two Bob is a 2008 Harmony 34. Harmony Yachts were built in France by Poncin Yachts. The company was the creation of Olivier Poncin who was previously responsible for the relaunch and growth of Dufour Yachts and then finally became the CEO of the Catana Group. The Harmony 34 was built in arguably the sailing capital of the world - the La Rochelle region of France. Two Bob is an impressive example of the Harmony 34. This is an easy to sail, spacious, mid-sized family cruiser. There is a self-tacking headsail and Two Bob also comes with an overlapping genoa. The helm seat / transom platform lowers for easy access onto the dock or to the water while giving that all important walk-through access. Two Bob has enjoyed recent important upgrades most in 2021 including a new Volvo engine, new standing rigging along with much of the running rigging and a new furler in 2022. New Garmin electronics were installed in 2021 along with all new batteries, a new head, and anchor chain and rode. The gas service was replaced with new copper pipe regulator and fittings, compliance 306253. All seacocks have been replaced, including the engine locker seacock in 2023. Down below the yacht presents beautifully with a two-cabin layout. In the forward cabin there is an offset double berth. The saloon space consists of a very practical in-line galley with a massive fridge and large saloon seating which lowers for an additional double berth or day bed. There is a practical nav desk / switchboard area which leads to the very neat and well sized head and shower. The double aft cabin boasts a large double. The cockpit is perfectly proportioned with the full six winches, good protection from the dodger and bimini and seriously large storage lockers. There is an electric windlass (anchor winch). A BBQ is mounted on the pushpit along with a solar panel. The transom has a hot and cold shower. Two Bob is an easy, neat, mid-size cruiser with a great turn of speed. There is a solid inventory and she's genuinely in sail away condition. Two Bob will satisfy both the avid sailor and those just beginning their sailing adventure.
