Ep63 | Mind-blowing: Sailing from easy going island life to LUXURY?! | Linnea Sailing

Finally some really good sailing as we head north towards St Barths! After last week's terrible experience we really needed this. No more feelings of selling the boat! And what a place we arrive to!! The huge yachts can be seen from far away as we approach the island. St Barths marina is a destination of luxury, with the streets packed with high end boutiques. This is a place for luxury mega yachts and rich charter guests. And in the middle of this, we find ourselves walking around on the island that was once Swedish. Far far away from the easy going Caribic islands we just left behind! The airstrip on St Barths is super busy and normally the airplanes have a very narrow landing over the anchorage and mountains, so of course we head to check this out, and of course the planes land from the beach instead on this particular day... Why is that always our piece of luck? Two (or was it maybe three?!) hours later and we did actually get some pretty cool shots anyway!
