Ep4: Liveaboards sailing the Croatian islands in 2021 - no one is here!

We are new fulltime liveaboards who just started cruising the Croatian islands during the pandemic on our newly purchased sailboat. This is our first passage and we share some amazing places to visit in Croatia and what its like to be a liveaboard. Croatia sailing and Croatia travel is at its best right now. Come before travel resumes back to normal and the crowds take over. We have these island destinations to ourselves - Korcula, Hvar, Vis, etc. With pristine beaches, ancient ruins, and more than 1,000 idyllic islands, Croatia island sailing is one of the best destinations in Europe! Join us as we take out our new (to us) sailboat for our first passage. You might wonder how much does a sailing holiday in Croatia coast. We share costs and tips on marinas and anchorages to help you plan your next yacht charter vacation in Croatia. We quit our jobs and moved from California to liveaboard a sailboat fulltime. We just started our adventure of sailing around the world and experiencing life by living on a sailboat. In this sailing vlog 2021 we will share our experiences as a sailing couple on YouTube who spends our first-year sailing extensively throughout Croatia. We will document our experiences, costs and travel discoveries throughout our sailing journey. Croatia offers some of the best sailing in the Adriatic and sailing in Europe. Sailing passage in this video along with costs to dock a 45' boat per day: Day 1 -Korcula, Croatia Old Town (ACI Marina Korcula 686 HRK or $112 USD) Day 2 -Uvala Plitvine/West side of Korcula island (free anchorage in the bay) Day 3 -Uvala Vinogradisce/Sveti Klement (mooring ball 370 HRK or $60 USD) Day 4 -- ACI Marina Palmizana (marina is 734 HRK or $120 USD) near Hvar, Croatia Day 5 & 6 - Vis, Croatia Kut Quay (610 HRK or $100 USD) Day 7 - Uvala Banja/bay near Korcula Old town (mooring ball was free) Day 8 - Back to Slano ACI Marina Note: We were able to stay for free at the ACI Marinas in Croatia because of the special they are currently having + we negotiated a lower rate at Vis Kut Quay as described in the video.
