In the morning 3rd March 2024, we lifted the anchor of our last anchorage in Isla Amita Patagonia. From Ithaca anchorage to Golf Corcovado, we made 2 stops to short the trip to avoid sailing at night, Caleta San Pedro and Isla Amita. Caleta San Pedro has a small salmon farm near the entrance, but it is wide and not so close to the entrance. The bay inside is a good size to anchor a few boats. A good protected anchorage for both north and south wind. Also in this bay, we received a most welcomed experience from Patagonia dolphins. They came to greet Ithaca, and later on accompanying us by the dinghy all the way to the shore. Such friendly creatures! Isla Amita didn't protect us from the south west wind. The beach has no much to see, not even spot much mussels. After exploring, the petrol is finished and we had to go back to Ithaca without engine. But luckily the wind is blowing downward. All we need to do is to make sure that we wouldn't miss the boat. Rowing with little paddles in strong head wind is insane. ? Good bye Patagonia! Now we are heading back to civilization.
