Ep22 | (Re-upload) Breaking out of L'Aber Wrac'h

This Re-upload includes some more detailed footage of us sailing out of L'aber Wrac'h....a sail we waited over 3 weeks for!!! (watch to the end) We discover a problem just after we cast the lines, but quickly fix it before having to hoist Aksel up the mast! In this episode, we spend another 2 weeks stuck in L'Aber Wrac'h, France as the setback of heavy weather over the Bay of Biscay is followed by the next setback of total lockdown in France, including the prospect of sailing. However, the horizons lighten after a friendly family sails in. They also tip us off as to how to break out of the sailing ban, legally. :) This is our final episode of our 4 weeks in L'Aber Wrac'h and we FINALLY set sail southbound again...just not how we had expected.
