This is an episode for all the sailors out there who want to cross the Pentland Firth! Its one of the UK's fearsome passages and not to be undertaken lightly. The tides can run through here at up to 16 knots on springs. Timing is everything as is checking the weather and not being afraid to change your plans if everything does not come together.
