I refuse to call THE ENDLESS SEA a coffee table book…It’s so much more than what that mildly derisive term implies. Recently published by Massey University Press in New Zealand it is made up of a series of stories told through the taonga, or treasured possessions, of the New Zealand Maritime Museum, Hui te Ananui a Tangaroa.
