What started as quick inspection ended up with our forestay foil going overboard! In this maintenance blog I remove the detach the forestay at the turnbuckle in order to remove the furling mechanism. In the next few videos I will be stripping down and completely rebuilding the electric furler gearbox and having the motor brought back to life from almost certain death!
