Discovering cruising - Mist hosts a Corporate Sailing Adventure | Sailing Mist Ep16

We discover the joy of cruising Mist, and introducing newcomers to sailing. We were invited to join the Garmin corporate day out and host some of their employees onboard Mist. The aim of the day was to allow members of their many staff from many departments, to sample our wonderful world of sailing. After collecting our crew from Ocean Village, Southampton (UK) we set off to The Solent, in search of wind. Eventually finding some we hoisted the headsail for a short sail, before swapping crew after lunch. The next batch of intrepid newbies got a better introduction, with more than 20 knots of wind, and they revelled in the challenge.
