Sailing vessel Tapatya. The sewing machine is out again as I make cloth covers for the tiller pilot ram and the tiller itself. Then I'm back in the workshop final fitting the shaft on the windvane and fabricating the location and locking parts for the windvane tower element. This is the story of the building of a Jay Benford designed, 31.8ft, junk schooner-rigged cruising sailboat. The videos are a week-by-week record of the build as it progresses and aim to show as much detail as possible of the various aspects of the build.
