Camel Wrestling Anyone? (Ep. 18) | Sailing Catamaran Element

The crew of Sailing Catamaran Element attend a Camel Wrestling festival in Kumlucca, while living aboard a Catana 471 catamaran, during the Winter off-season in Setur Marina of Finike, Turkey before they set off on their sailing adventures to sail around the world. In this Video Episode: On Boxing day, the international cruising community in Finike, decides to take a group tour of the well preserved Lycian ruins of Arykanda, a 5 tier ancient settlement with stunning panoramic views and the weather cooperates. After a weekend Winter storm passes through, temperatures have dropped and snow is on the surrounding mountains, just in time for the annual Camel Wrestling Festival in Kumlucca. When the weather later warms up, the Swedish crew from s/y Kerpa share a traditional eating and drinking experience with the international sailing community residing in Finike Marina. Finally, Sherrie and the girls are invited by local friends to experience Finike's very first Orange Festival! Finike is famous in Turkey for it orange production.
