In part sixteen of this series on how to build a wooden Snipe class sailboat I show how to finish the exterior of the boat, as well as install the rudder. Then I show how to mill the rub or spray rails from rough sawmill cherry. Next I pre-drill the rails and then steam them into shape. Finally I attach them with bedding compound and bronze screws.
