Bosch Dishwasher E 15 Error --Pump Keeps Working Even After Water is Pumped out

This video shows how to diagnose and correct a 2018 era Bosch Diswasher when it displays the E:15 error message. It will also pump for several minutes and then pause and then pump again. The screen may also go blank if you shut off the breaker. There are a couple of possivle causes. There may be standing water in the base of the unit OR the float that switches on the pump may be stuck in the up position. As the video emphasizes TURN OFF THE BREAKER to the dishwasher at the breaker box if you are doing anything inside the unit. Other models have other types of floats but this uses a styrofoam disk that is about 6" in diameter.
