Unfortunately, time runs out as the crane shows up for the big lift before everything that needed to happen could happen. Last minute temporary changes had to be implemented to make this milestone moment all come together. With the mast "up", the Captain now has to shift gears and prepare for his flight to the States to see the rest of the crew.
