Bahamas Sailing; Navigating through Devil's Backbone (Calico Skies Sailing Ep. 19)

After much planning we finally complete the passage through the notoriously tricky Devil's Backbone reef and arrive at a beautiful secluded beach north of Harbour Island, Eleuthera. We are being extra cautious as we opted to tackle the reef without the aid of a pilot, using our charts in conjunction with our eyes to "read" the color of the water in order to differentiate between reef and deep water.
